3. Pearl Harbor Day

In previous years our Post hosted a ceremony to honor those brave men and women who lost their lives in Pearl Harbor. We will not have the ceremony this year. Rather, all members are encouraged to attend the ceremony at the Milwaukee War Memorial Building at 7:00pm on Thursday, December 7th.

National Pearl Harbor Remembrance Day, which is observed annually in the United States on December 7, is to remember and honor the 2,403 victims who were killed in the Japanese surprise attack on Pearl Harbor on December 7, 1941. On August 23, 1994, the United States Congress, by Pub. L. 103–308, designated December 7 of each year as National Pearl Harbor Remembrance Day.

National Pearl Harbor Remembrance Day is also referred to as Pearl Harbor Remembrance Day or Pearl Harbor Day. It is a tradition to fly the Flag of the United States at half-staff on December 7th until sunset in honor of our dead patriots.
1. Greenfield JROTC

If you would like to read about something really good, no something really great, you should click on the story on our Home page about the Greenfield High School JROTC. You'll be both amazed and impressed by what these young people have done for veterans. Great stories like this do not happen enough.
